We just realized that Agathodaimon was formed almost 15 years ago- so we decided to have a little party in September, at “Die Halle” in Frankfurt. Well, nothing big and fancy, but we’ll play an extended, long set with lots of old classics, plus there’ll be other bands such as Odium, Contrast and Apsis. And of course there will be time to chat and have a drink together, so, come along and party with us!

Welcome to our website!
First of all, we’d like to announce that we parted ways with our guitarist Jan, due to musical and personal differences.
But we already can reveal our new guitar player: Please welcome Thilo Feucht!
He’s no unknown musician to our fans, you will know him from various contributions and guest appearances he had on CHAPTER III and SERPENT’S EMBRACE, back then under the nick name of Azrael.
He did also join us on stage several times in the past since CHAPTER III, and already for our last recent gigs we had in Austria and Germany the past weekends.
We’re proud that he joined our ranks as full member now, and look forward to working on our 6th album together.
Speaking of it, for which we can announce the working title IN DARKNESS... it will be a step back to our roots, girls and boys!
A studio date is scheduled for early 2011. More news to come soon.

If you're tired of cozy Christmas evenings, be sure not to miss the New Evil X-Mas Festival at the Steinbruch Theatre in Darmstadt, 27.12.09.
6 years, 6 bands, 6 € entrance fee! Agathodaimon will play a headliner gig, other participating bands are: LUNATIC DICTATOR, LEGAL HATE, MALA FIDE, APSIS (ex-SKIDBLADNIR) and KARAMBOLE. Doors open at 7 pm.
sorry for not having any news during the past days, but there’s mostly been a lot of stress...
As our romanian fans might already have recognized, the festival at Bucuresti didn’t take place today- this was a huge disappointment for the band and myself personally (especially after the cancellation of the festival that was supposed to take place at Fetesti), as I was quite sure this gig would be 100% safe. But instead, no news from the organizer or even a reply to our questions- that’s how things can happen I suppose. But it shouldn't be that way- and still, it’s quite frustrating as we’ve been looking forward to see our romanian friends again. Well, still being sad about it, there’s at least the good news that we’ll be going to Romania in summer 2010- that's a fact. We’ll keep you posted...
